Objectives
- To continue to provide a high quality diagnostic Oral & maxillofacial histopathology service.
- To develop and improve the core facilities and techniques which support teaching and research.
- To continue to support and train undergraduate and postgraduate students, by combining traditional teaching techniques with high quality innovative teaching-learning methodologies, thus facilitating the student to gain sound foundation and sufficient knowledge about the Development, structure and function of various orofacial tissues and the diseases of the orofacial region. This has been of great help to the student, to develop understanding about the common dental diseases and thus, provide most appropriate treatment.
- To carry out the research activities related to oral diseases, particularly Oral Precancer & Cancer and add to the existing knowledge, by carrying out quality research and applying for funded projects.
