On 1st March 2026, the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, conducted a Zonal CDE & workshop on pediatric rotary endodontics and space management in collaboration with Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, with Dr Ganesh Jeevanandan, MDS, PhD, Associate Dean of Innovation and Development, Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals, Chennai, TN as the resource person. The workshop is titled “Contemporary Pediatric Endodontics and Space Management” and included the following topics: Evolution and Clinical Protocol of Kedo Pediatric Rotary File Systems, Kedo Preformed Space Maintainers – Indications and Techniques, Demonstration of Kedo Preformed Space Maintainers & Kedo – S Stainless steel crown, Introductory lecture on recent Pediatric dental materials. The lecture is followed by a hands-on workshop with Kedo-S Rotary Files & pre-formed space maintainers. A total of 87 postgraduate students, interns, and faculty members from GDC Vijayawada, SNDC Gannavaram, AIIMS Mangalagiri, st. Joseph Dental College Eluru, CARE dental college Guntur and SIBAR Institute of dental sciences has actively participated in the event. The lecture is concluded with an elaborate Q & A Session and a valedictory function.
