CBCT plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and management of various conditions such as impacted teeth, cysts, tumours, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and complex root canal anatomy. It is also highly valuable in treatment planning for dental implants, orthodontics, and surgical procedures, as it provides precise spatial relationships and detailed anatomical visualization. With this initiative, a zonal Continuing Dental Education (CDE) program was organized for postgraduate students and faculty from three institutions: SIBAR Institute of Dental Sciences, Government Dental College, Vijayawada, and St. Joseph Dental College, Eluru. Dr. Revan Joshi, MDS Professor Department of Oral medicine and Radiology, R. V. Dental College & Hospital, Bangalore, Karnataka, India highlighted the importance of CBCT and also conducted hands-on training sessions, including implant planning and airway analysis.
