On July 18, 2026 the Department of Oral Pathology, Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences, Takkellapadu, Guntur, conducted a Zonal Continuing Dental Education (CDE) Programme under the banner of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. The programme featured comprehensive scientific sessions and lectures delivered by esteemed faculty members: Dr. Ravikanth Manyam (Professor & Head, Department of Oral Pathology, Vishnu Dental College) who spoke on the introduction and principles of special stains; Dr. M. Atchyuta (Professor, Department of Pathology, NRI Medical College) who covered special stains for carbohydrates, connective tissues, and microorganisms; Dr. V. Tejeswini (Professor & Head, Department of Pathology, NRI Medical College) who lectured on special stains for oral potentially malignant disorders and oral cancer; and Dr. P. Chandra Shekar (Professor, Department of Oral Pathology, Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences) who led a special pre-session lecture. The programme provided participants with valuable insights into histopathological and clinical analysis through expert lectures, memento presentations, and a dedicated hands-on session, with faculty members and postgraduates in attendance.
