On 25th July, 2026, the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences, Takkellapadu, Guntur, conducted a CDE Programme on “Tobacco cessation & counselling through telephone, Impact: an integrated model for problem assessment, community planning and transformative action, Mastering pocket depth determination and assessment of loss of attachment and Facing medical emergencies in outreach orla health programs” comprising lecture series delivered by faculty form Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences, Dr. Srinivas Pachava (Professor & Head, Public Health Dentistry), Dr. Dhulipala Ravindranath (Professor & Head, Periodontology and Implantology) and Dr. Musunuri Manoj Kumar (Associate Professor, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery). The programme provided participants with practical insights into tobacco cessation counselling, community-based oral health planning, periodontal assessment, and the management of medical emergencies encountered during outreach oral health programmes, with a total of 37 delegates in attendance.
