Department of Periodontology SIBAR Institute of Dental Sciences in collaboration with Indian Society of Periodontology organized a scientific event 14th ISP Colloquium on 25th March, 2026 with the support of Principal Sponsor Colgate and Scientific Sponsor Simpladent . The program focuses on the theme “Implants with Perio-Precision” aiming to enhance knowledge and clinical skills in Implantology and Periodontal therapy. The colloquium includes a series of expert lectures on Hard tissue augmentation and cortico-basal implants, followed by an interactive hands-on training session on cortico-basal implants for participants. It is designed for dental professionals, including staff and postgraduate students from all specialties, providing both theoretical insights and practical experience in advanced implant procedures. The inauguration of the programme started with the prayer song to seek blessings from almighty. Dr. D. Ravindranath, Organising chairman, ISP Colloquium, 2026 gave opening remarks of the programme. Dr. B. Ramanarayana, Organising secretary has delivered the vote of thanks. The main academic component comprises three scientific lectures in the morning session from soft tissue augmentation around implants by Dr. Muthukumar from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, cortico-basal implants by Dr. Leela Krishna G oral maxillofacial surgeon and mentor from International Implant Foundation, reflecting a comprehensive approach in periodontology and implantology. The program includes demo and hands-on session in the afternoon, emphasizing practical skill development and experiential learning by enabling participants to apply theoretical knowledge in a controlled setting. More than 90 Participants from different dental colleges had attended the programme and 58 participants had participated in the Hands on programme. The programme became a huge success by the active participation of delegates as well as dedication shown by the committee members.
