On the eve of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry under the aegis of Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry organized a workshop titled ICONic Solutions: From surface lesions to Deep Learning on 01/07/2025. Dr Neeraj Gugnani MDS, Professor, Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, DAV Dental College, Yamunanagar was the resource person. A total of 102 postgraduate students, interns, and faculty members from Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences, Guntur; Vishnu Dental College, Bhimavaram; Government Dental College, Kadapa; AIIMS-Mangalagiri, ANIDS, Vishakapatnam; Government Dental College-Vijayawada and SNDC, Gannavaram actively participated in the event. The workshop was divided into two sessions – Lecture one was on Clinical Diagnosis and Management of Early Caries and Other White Opacities and Lecture two was on the Scope and Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Various Disciplines of Dentistry, followed by a hands-on session where the participants were trained to make apps related to different disciplines of dentistry using AI technology in just seven steps. The workshop concluded with elaborate Q & A Session and a valedictory function where the resource person was felicitated and all the members received the participation certificates.
