On the eve of Children’s Day, the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Sibar Institute of Dental Sciences, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, organised a series of Oral health screening and treatment camps from 6-11-25 to 28-11-25 at 10 different schools with the theme (Slogan) “Let’s build healthy smiles together”. Along with school children, awareness sessions were organised for parents, teachers and special children regarding maintenance of proper oral hygiene, proper dietary habits and the importance of physical exercise as there has been an increased incidence of childhood obesity in recent times. Non- cariogenic snacks like fresh fruits, boiled eggs and hot milk were served as refreshments (instead of cakes and chocolates). Indoor mind games were organised and gifts were given to all the participants.
